Centrifugal Compressor System
A centrifugal compressor is a type of turbine compressor that uses a high-speed rotating impeller to do work on gas and utilizes centrifugal force to increase gas pressure. It is widely used in the field of industrial gas compression and transportation.
Working principle
Energy conversion: When the impeller rotates at high speed, the gas is thrown towards the impeller outlet under the action of centrifugal force, and the pressure and kinetic energy are increased simultaneously. Then, the kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy through the diffuser.
Continuous flow: A negative pressure zone is formed at the center of the impeller, enabling continuous intake and exhaust of gas without the need for intermittent operation.
Structural classification
Horizontally split type: The cylinder is horizontally split in the middle, which is convenient for disassembly and assembly and is suitable for medium and low pressure scenarios.
Cylindrical type: Double-layer cylinder with strong sealing and can withstand pressure above 10MPa.
Multi-shaft type: Gearbox drives multiple impeller shafts, with a compact structure, suitable for medium and low pressure gas compression.
Application areas
Industrial gases: compressed air, nitrogen, syngas, etc.
Special scenario: Magnetic levitation technology achieves oil-free lubrication, which is energy-saving and efficient.
