VSD System 

A VSD (Variable Speed Drive) is an electrical device that regulates the load by changing the speed of a motor. Its core function is to control the motor speed by adjusting the frequency and voltage input to the motor. VSDs are also known as variable frequency drives (VFDs) or variable speed drives; these three terms are essentially different names for the same type of device.
